By using the BSACS website and online payment facilities, the user agrees to comply with the terms stated below. Registration and use of the online services shall be treated as acceptance of these terms.
User ID, Password, and OTP Login
The user acknowledges that the User ID, password, and OTP-based login credentials are confidential and must be kept secure at all times.
- Choose a new password whenever required for security reasons.
- Keep the User ID and password strictly confidential; any sharing is done at the user's own risk.
- Remain responsible for all transactions carried out using the user's login credentials.
Debit/Credit Card and Bank Account Details
The user must ensure that all debit card, credit card, and bank account details submitted for payment are correct, accurate, and lawfully owned or authorized for use by the user.
When making a payment, the user confirms that:
- The user is legally entitled to use the selected debit card, credit card, or bank account for the transaction.
- The card or bank details provided are accurate and valid.
- The user authorizes the debit of the nominated card or bank account for the selected fee amount along with applicable charges.
- The user is responsible for ensuring that sufficient balance or credit is available at the time of payment.
Payment Gateway Disclaimer
The payment gateway service is provided only to facilitate online fee viewing and payment. BSACS and the payment service provider do not make any representation or warranty regarding the payment gateway except as specifically stated on the website.
Use of the online payment service is entirely at the user's own risk and responsibility.
Server Slowdown, Session Timeout, and Duplicate Payments
If the website or payment service provider's page experiences server slowdown, failure, or session timeout, the user must verify whether the bank account has been debited before attempting a second payment.
- If the bank account has been debited, the user must not make the payment again and should immediately contact BSACS through the available communication channels to confirm the payment.
- If the bank account has not been debited, the user may initiate a fresh transaction.
- Under no circumstances shall the payment gateway service provider or BSACS be held responsible for fraudulent or duplicate transactions, and claims in this regard will not be entertained by the payment service provider or BSACS.
Limitation of Liability
BSACS and the payment service provider assume no liability for any monetary or other loss suffered by the user on account of delay, failure, interruption, or corruption of data transmitted in connection with the payment gateway or related services.
They shall also not be liable for interruptions, operational errors, deletion, defects, delay in transmission, computer viruses, communication failures, theft, destruction, unauthorized access, alteration, or misuse of information available on the website.
Internet and Data Risk Acknowledgment
The user understands and agrees that personal data, including debit card and credit card details transmitted over the internet, may be vulnerable to misuse, hacking, theft, or fraud, and that BSACS and the payment service provider have no control over such risks.
Although reasonable care is taken to protect transmitted information, BSACS does not guarantee that use of its online services will not result in theft or unauthorized use of data over the internet.
Chargeback
In these terms, "Charge Back" means any approved and settled card, net banking, or other electronic transaction that is subsequently refused, debited back, or charged back to the merchant account by the acquiring bank or card company, along with any associated bank fees, penalties, or incidental charges.
